October LAVA Workshop

Tues, October 7th

Artist, VJ, and VIDVOX Founder Johnny DeKam has opened a new studio in West LA together with his Partner/Producer Bree Edwards under the label “Be Johnny” – We are happy to welcome them both to LAVA!

Be Johnny has offered to hold a special LAVA meeting at their studio of some rare and interesting video gear:  The VIXID VJX16-4 video mixer (from Paris) along with several DMX controlled VMS Moving Mirror projectors (from Austria).

Trey Harrison will present his recent video installation from Ibiza. Paul Bivens will give a talk on VJ loop compression techniques.

Next LAVA will be held at Johnny’s studio:

Feel free to BYOB and snacks. Doors open at 7pm, workshop starts at 8pm
