    Hi LaVa!

I’m looking to find a VJ/DMX geek to be the other half of my production team and thought LaVa might be a good place to start. I perform a one-man world/ambient/epic new age show (think Peter Gabriel/Enigma audio with Baraka/Cirque Du Soliel visuals) but need a dedicated gfx/light geek to guide the eye-candy. I am being pursued by a national booking firm who wants to take this to the next level beyond what I’ve put together myself (example live demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V–fBUaPnFY ).

These are paid gigs at Performing Arts Centers, theaters and colleges that would require overnight/flight flexibility as well as show production/coordination sessions.

This production is expanding quickly with backed financial interests and though I could trigger premade clips for the show by myself, the live/improv element would greatly add to the overall vibe. This production will go on with or without a GXF person but the added talent would command higher revenue (currently a $2000-$4000 show, but with a solid visual counterpart could fetch $7000-$10,000).

If there is better venue for this type of request (forums, etc.) please let me know. I’m looking to bring on some untapped talent who has knowledge of (or desire to learn) DMX lighting as well (triggered through midi like Arkaos, etc) or a dedicated light board. The possibilities are open-ended so ideas/input are more than welcome. Thanks guys!
